The Irish Claims Service is the independent provider in Ireland of assessments and information relating to claims. We provide high quality, relevant and up to date information on all types of claims for compensation from product liability to road accidents. We hope that through the provision of such information the public will be made fully aware of their legal entitlements to obtain compensation.
The Irish Claims Service provide a panel of human experts who can assess cases on merit and quantum. We do not charge for this service. They are on hand to provide you with a detailed assessment of your case regardless of type, including whether the circumstances give rise to a viable claim and also the level of damages you should expect to receive. This is a service provided to the public free of charge. If you case involves an injury, or experts can arrange for a full submission to the Injuries Board or in other cases to the Irish Courts directly.
We also provide an automated online claims calculator (specifically related to personal injury claims in Ireland however). This tool can show how much you can claim and the amounts of personal injury awards, should it be assessed by the Personal Injuries Assessment Board following an accident. Our claims calculator uses the most up to date Personal Injuries Guidelines which replaced the old Book of Quantum.
Road Accidents
If you have been involved in a road accident either as a driver, a passenger or a pedestrian, our Road Accident Claim panel have provided here information about whether you could claim for losses or injuries suffered and also the amount of money you could receive.
Property Damage
If your property has been impacted by fire damage, flood damage, storm damage or an oil spill, our Property Claims panel can provide you with information offer clarity on whether you can claim compensation to repair the damages.
Debt Recovery
We provide a free service providing advice by a panel of experts on the likelyhood of recovery of a debt. You are then free to decide whether to pursue the debt recovery claim.
Accidents at Work
Accidents at work can often happen, sometimes with some quite severe consequences. Not all accidents can give rise to a possible compensation claim. Our Work Accident Claims Team has provided information here on whether you could claim and how much money you might receive.
Slip or Trips
Uneven footpaths, wet floors, pot holes and stuff lying about can often cause nasty falls. Find out here if compensation is available for your fall.
